Vehicle Detail

I am the original owner and have all the paperwork for the purchase, as well as all the routine maintenance on the Prius. The car has been in our garage the entire time, and washed at least twice per month. The sound system on the Prius is dynamite, and the MP3 jack has been great for using my iPod for hours. Since we are in Florida, the air conditioner is used 90 percent of the time; highway driving with the A/C ranges from 44-46 MPG consistently. Around town, the MPG is in the 45-48 range. I have gotten as high as 52 in town but only when it is cooler and no A/C in use. It handles nicely with a sharp turning radius. Very easy to park in crowded areas and the back-up camera is a huge plus for safety. In addition to the features listed, I added the mud/rain guards front and back, along with extra window tinting for the Florida sunshine. With the rear seats folded flat, there is plenty of room, certainly equal to my Ford Escape, which I had before the Prius. The braking system is regenerative, which aids in the increased mileage. But the brakes are excellent and stop the car more quickly than others I’m use to of its size. The acceleration is adequate since the gasoline engine kicks in with plenty of pickup for entering a highway. The car is driven on the interstate regularly so there is no issue with entrance ramps or the passing lane. If you're worried about speed, you probably don't need a Prius (g), but I'll admit it will exceed the speed limit easily if one were interested... I’m selling the Prius because I need a car that can be towed behind our RV. The transmission on the hybrid is not designed for towing or being towed, and I do not want to buy a trailer large enough to pull the entire car. The tires were replaced at approximately 50k miles and they have good life left. The car uses regular gas, which helps keep down costs, when combined with the excellent mileage. The Prius has never been in an accident of any kind. The body condition is good – see attached photos. Were it not for our RV and the associated towing limitations, I would not be selling the Prius. It’s been a great vehicle to own.
