This is a 1972 BMW 2002tii VIN 2760762. It was partially restored in the mid 80’s with 1974 sheetmetal updates on front and rear panels and a dual head light conversion. It got tapped in the back about 12 years ago and the owner is not able to repair it. It has been sitting in storage since the collision. It has a 2.3 liter M10 engine with a welded stroker crank, ported head, Schrick 316 cam, 45 DCOE webers, 008 distributor. The engine is currently out of the car and needs to be freshened up. It has a 5 speed close ratio transmission – also out of the car, but was in good condition and working fine at the time of removal. Oil cooler, lightened flywheel, HD clutch, 323 release bearing, 75% locking limited slip differential, 3.64:1. Vented front disc brakes, 250 mm rear drum brakes, HD Bilsteins, Suspension Techniques Springs (1” lower), upper negative camber plates, 22mm F. & 19mm R. Sway bars, adjustable rear subframe, 2002 Turbo Exhaust, 1 5/8“ exhaust header w/ thermal coating, , 14” BBS Wheels.
