1987 Pontiac TOJAN **Convertible**Trans Am. 1 Owner! Only 13 Convertibles MADE!! Not a kit car!! 100% stock!! I have Factory *window sticker* GMAC sales contract. Manuals and many other things as well. The Engine runs like a charm, Very relaible car. The A.C. blows ice cold and was changed to 134a. Everything inside the car works the way it should. The Automatic transmission shifts very tight through all gears, No funny noises at all. Very tight car. Recaro leather interior is stock, The front seat do show some wear and need to be redone one day, Very Comfortable Seats. The Factory Gotti wheels do have some curb marks. Tires are like new all around. The top is in nice shape for the year and does not leak at all. As you can see from the pictures the body is in really nice shape, No accidents, It does have some minor rust under doors, They are stock ta doors. The Back bumper has a crack, Clearcoat peeling on paint hood and a few other spots. This car was *Black from factory and I really wanted to have the car repainted but have to many toys and really do not have the time for her* The car was repainted white many years ago. HISTORY: **This is not a kit car** This car was purchased at a Pontiac dealer just like you see it!! A company called Knudsen built it and it was sold through select Pontiac dealerships in Florida, Texas, California and New Jersey. Pontiac sent them to Knudsen for the conversion and Knudsen sent them off to the dealerships much like Saleen and others are doing with Mustangs today. Knudsen is still making custom cars and are now known as Rage Automotive : http://www.rageexoticvehicles.com/history.html . Knudsen built only 300 cars based on F-body cars from '84-'91. Half were Camaro's (known as Carralo) and the rest were Tojans making this 1 of 150 ever made 13 were Convertible! and many of those were shipped out of the country. You will be the only one on the block with one of these (probably your whole state)! All panels are fiberglass, only the roof and doors are metal.
