I am selling my newly restored 1965 Mustang, A code, 289. The car was originally white and 100% original from head to toe, never been wrecked or even repainted. The sheet metal on the car, looked brand new. Even underneath the factory primer was still there; unpainted and original. Engine was running good, but not good enough. I pulled the engine out for the first time, and sent it to be professionally rebuilt it is the original number matching engine. The mechanic said that they pulled out the original barrings, and the engine was untouched prior to that. I also had the transmission checked out and serviced. It is hard to find a car this old in this good of a condition; so you can call it a rare find. About the restoration: The car was completely disassembled and everything that was back on is brand new.If you are looking for an efficient car that will last you decades, this is a car to buy. Exterior: New paint job. scale from 1 to 10 it is a 8. looks as good as the picture. All of the bumpers, lights, emblems, chrome trims, grill, windshield, seals, weather stripping, everything is new. Interior: the entire interior is new: seats, headliner, dash, instrument bezel, shifters, side step trims, seat belts, carpets. As you see in the pictures everything is new. Engine: after the engine was rebuilt, all of the other components were replaced as well. new water pump, harmonic balance, carburetor, valve covers, air filter, oil pan, radiators, headers, master cylinder, brakes( not just new pads, everything), starter, complete exhaust system, gas tank, fuel pump, tires and wheels, pretty much everything. It has the original C 4 automatic Transmission which also was fully serviced. Everything works and functions the way it is suppose to. It drives very nice and handles well at any speed. It is completely ready for a new home. you don't have to do anything to the car but get in and drive it.
