I bought this vehicle and paid a premium price for it, unfortunately for me I found out later after I bought it that there are a couple of issues which will prevent me from recouping my expense. This is a good looking vehicle and I shall explain the issues it has to you in the following bullet list.Power windowsPower door locksRemote keyless entryPOWER SUNROOFRoof rackRear window wiper/defrosterDeep tinted glassInfinity AM-FM stereo with CD playerFactory alarm systemDelay wipersCruise controlAdjustable wheelICE COLD air conditioningGreat running 3.0 Litre V-6 engine. When it chooses to start it runs fantastic, unfortunately it does not always choose to start. My mechanic informs me that it is most likely a fuel pump.There is no check engine light or other warning lights on!The only other mechanical issue I could find is that there is an exhaust leak somewhere. It is not very loud but you can hear it.Smooth shifting 4 speed automatic transmissionManual 4 wheel drive system works properly in all modesABS equipped brakes stop the vehicle quickly, safely and in a straight line!The 2 tone green and tan exterior paint is clean and shiny with very few defects such as scratches etc.The body is in excellent condition considering the year and mileage, there are a few minor defects such as small dings etc. and there is a pushed in area on the lower right front of the plastic bumper, a heat gun would probably take that out. Surprisingly there is no visible rust on the body, however on the right side of the frame there is some rust perforation, and I would definitely fix that before I drove it too far, but that will be up to you.The tan cloth seats are amazingly clean and nice with very little if any wear and tear at all.The rest of the interior is also very clean and in great shape, and it has very nice and clean factory embroidered floor mats.MATCHING Kumho tiresFront tires appear to have 75% tread leftRear tires appear to have 75% tread leftNice clean factory aluminum alloy wheels, one is missing the center capKelly Blue Book retail value of $7053.00 I always try to sell my vehicles for WAY below the KBB value, but in this case I will really be selling this vehicle very cheaply because of the work needed to make it roadworthy. I am not saying it is unsafe to drive, that decision will be up to you to make, I personally would have this vehicle towed just because of the fuel issue, but if you can get it started it most likely will make it home. Some of our vehicles may be for sale locally, and we reserve the right to end the auction early for any reason. Many of the vehicles are also driven, so they may have a few more miles than is listed or shown in the pictures, but not too many, certainly not enough to affect the value of the vehicles. We are offering this nice 2001 MITSUBISHI MONTERO SPORT FOUR WHEEL DRIVE! - This is a clear case of my loss is your gain. I bought this vehicle and paid a premium price for it, unfortunately for me I found out later after I bought it that there are a couple of issues which will prevent me from recouping my expense. This is a good looking vehicle and I shall explain the issues it has to you in the following bullet list.

• Power windows
• Power door locks
• Remote keyless entry
• POWER SUNROOF
• Roof rack
• Rear window wiper/defroster
• Deep tinted glass
• Infinity AM-FM stereo with CD player
• Factory alarm system
• Delay wipers
• Cruise control
• Adjustable wheel
• ICE COLD air conditioning
• Great running 3.0 Litre V-6 engine. When it chooses to start it runs fantastic, unfortunately it does not always choose to start. My mechanic informs me that it is most likely a fuel pump.
• There is no check engine light or other warning lights on!
• The only other mechanical issue I could find is that there is an exhaust leak somewhere. It is not very loud but you can hear it.
• Smooth shifting 4 speed automatic transmission
• Manual 4 wheel drive system works properly in all modes
• ABS equipped brakes stop the vehicle quickly, safely and in a straight line!
• The 2 tone green and tan exterior paint is clean and shiny with very few defects such as scratches etc.
• The body is in excellent condition considering the year and mileage, there are a few minor defects such as small dings etc. and there is a pushed in area on the lower right front of the plastic bumper, a heat gun would probably take that out. Surprisingly there is no visible rust on the body, however on the right side of the frame there is some rust perforation, and I would definitely fix that before I drove it too far, but that will be up to you.
• The tan cloth seats are amazingly clean and nice with very little if any wear and tear at all.
• The rest of the interior is also very clean and in great shape, and it has very nice and clean factory embroidered floor mats.
• MATCHING Kumho tires
• Front tires appear to have 75% tread left
• Rear tires appear to have 75% tread left
• Nice clean factory aluminum alloy wheels, one is missing the center cap
• Kelly Blue Book retail value of $7053.00

I always try to sell my vehicles for WAY below the KBB value, but in this case I will really be selling this vehicle very cheaply because of the work needed to make it roadworthy. I am not saying it is unsafe to drive, that decision will be up to you to make, I personally would have this vehicle towed just because of the fuel issue, but if you can get it started it most likely will make it home.

Some of our vehicles may be for sale locally, and we reserve the right to end the auction early for any reason. Many of the vehicles are also driven, so they may have a few more miles than is listed or shown in the pictures, but not too many, certainly not enough to affect the value of the vehicles.

I try to meet every one of my customers, and try to make it as convenient as possible, but if I can not be there I will make every effort to have someone there that can help you, but you MUST call first for an appointment.

A non-refundable $500.00 deposit is required via PayPal as soon as you win the auction and absolutely within 24 Hours of the auction ending, unless other arrangements have been made. We only accept PayPal for the initial deposit, the balance due must be paid in CASH or by ELECTRONIC WIRE TRANSFER. Despite what anything else may say we do NOT accept cashiers' checks, money orders, or any other type of so called "Certified" funds. If you absolutely must pay by PayPal there is a 5% inconvenience fee, and you need to talk to us prior to doing this. Contact us for information on this. If you do not contact us to make arrangements within 24 hours, we will sell it to the next bidder and issue an unpaid strike and negative feedback. The balance and pick up of the vehicle is due within 7 days of the auction ending, unless other arrangements have been made. We do not get involved in shipping that is on you. There is a $99 documentation fee, and if you live in NJ we are required to collect the appropriate sales tax.
