Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a used 2006 Ford F350 XL Crew Cab 4x4 FX4 Off Road Diesel. I bought this truck a few years ago and it had a problem with the EGR. We installed an EGR delete kit along with an SCT programmer (or chip kit) and haven't had a problem with the EGR since. The programmer has a few custom programs you can do including Hot Race, Hot Street, Tow, and Stock. This truck has had DOT inspections and repairs every year as we use this for our party rental business. It has been used as a work truck to tow our equipment to and from events. We towed small trailers and large goosenecks and it pulled without any problem. The transmission shifts tight and hasn't given us any problems. Air conditioning is cold. This truck has a rail kit and light hookup in the bed for towing gooseneck or 5th wheel trailers. There are some dings and scratches as well as some rust starting to come out around the rear wheel wells and a couple other areas. The engine runs very strong and is very powerful (please read below). The interior is in good condition. It could probably use a good detail. Everything seems in tact except the electric window switch on the passenger side (pictured) needs to either be glued down or replaced it is sticking up a little bit. This is an excellent work truck. This truck ran completely fine until just a week or so ago when it started running rougher. We brought it into the shop and they said it needed an injector in cylinder 4. I got a quote from a friend and he said it would cost around $1800 to fix (with labor). He said they normally replace all 4 injectors on that side of the V8. When I change to a Tow, Race, or Street mode, it runs quite a bit better than in stock mode. I'm sure the more power from the chip is compensating for the weak injector. The reason I'm selling this is because I'm upgrading my trucks in my fleet and selling off some of my trucks and trailers. You can pick up this truck at our location in Novi Michigan. We do not deliver. Any questions, call 248-477-3327. Ask for Dan
