You are bidding on a numbers matching 1978 Pontiac Trans-Am Y88 special edition. It is a WS6 package and has its original 4-speed manual transmission along with its original 400 engine. The tires as well the engine have only 4000 miles on them since the engine was fully rebuilt. The engine had its cylinders bored and honed .40 over and all new bearings installed, Lunati cam and lifters, and ported heads. The cars is equipped with flowmaster Delta Force 40 series mufflers and Dynomax ceramic coated headers. All done with double copperseal gaskets for a perfect no leak sound. The car comes with its original broadcast sheet and a copy of the window sticker, and alot of other original paperwork. The car is in nice shape and only needs some minor work. The a/c is in the trunk and does work, the door locks need to be fixed, and there is a small amount of surface rust in 3 or 4 small spots. The rest of the cars paint is flawless and was redone 7 years ago and you will not need to repaint this car. The interior will need to be redone on the back seat, but the leather two tone door panels are in great condition! It is 1 or 1267 Y88 special edition 4-speed cars ever made.
