You are bidding on a 98 Dodge 12 valve 4x4 diesel sport. As you know the 12 valve is getting harder and harder to find! This is a quadcab with an automatic transmission. The transmission was rebuilt just prior to me purchasing the truck. I have owned the truck for 9 months and have put 10K on it. I have put new tires, wheels, and a K&N air filter. I have kept up the general maintenance on this truck. It gets close to 20mpg and I have recently bought a maxfuel programmer for it from DODGE. This is suppose to increase your fuel mileage from 2 to 5 mpg (if not installed it will go with the truck). When I first bought the truck I took it to a diesel mechanic and had it all checked over. Everything checked out fine and he even said that it ran better than a factory stock 98 Cummins (so it may have had the pump turned up), but not positive. I am not a mechanic that is why I took it to him after I bought it to make sure it all checked out okay. Cosmetically, it is in great shape for its age. On the exterior there are a few places where the clear coat is peeling. As far as the inside the dash is cracked in places, but is still all in tact. There is no fifth wheel hookup, so I do not believe it was used to pull anything heavy, nor do I pull anything heavy with it. Overall, it is a good solid truck. I am selling it because I have several vehicles and it is time to downsize.
