Vehicle Detail

The reason I am selling this vehicle is because my wife wants a new car. We now have a 92 jeep Cherokee Laredo 2006 Toyota PU truck , Motorhome and a scooter and I simply do not have any more room for another vehicle until I sell one. Our Jeep will be restored to new condition for our new classic car. THIS MGB HAS BEEN A FIRST AND SECOND PLACE WINNER IN CAR SHOWS: This 1974 MGB roadster originally came from Arizona. This MGB has been restored from the unibody construction up. All of the suspension has been removed and upgraded. The front suspension received adjustable dynamic coil over shocks and a fast road kit that cost $1000 . The rear received a tube shock conversion and a one inch lowered rear leaf spring kit as well as all new bushings. All these additions make this MGB a great car to drive at a cost of over $1600 for both front and rear suspension. The vehicle has had all the brake components replaced with new parts as well as the clutch. The engine has been rebuilt to include a no-lead head conversion and a Kent fast street cam and has approximately four thousand miles since restoration. The speedometer is original and works well but the odometer is stuck on rollover. This vehicle has new twin SU carburetors, alternator, distributor and a new fuel pump all in the last 3 or so years. The vehicle has a four speed transmission with the electric overdrive which works flawlessly and offers lower RPM for cursing. The MGB has alloy rims with radial tires. The vehicle has a Mazda exhaust system for that mellow sports car sound. A special air dam has been installed for superior handling. The air dam also gives this vehicle a sharp sports car look that turns heads when driving by. The vehicle has never been in an accident so the body was great to start the restoration. The body has been finished in a base coat, clear coat tartan red. There are a couple of paint chips from rocks that have been touched up but hardly noticeable unless you look closely for them. The interior has been redone with tan leather seats, black leather dash and tan carpet. The vehicle has AM/FM radio with CD player with six inch door speakers and new antenna. It comes with a musical horn that can be programmed, which we use in parades. This MGB has a new grille and the bumpers are original and in excellent condition. The rear has all new light lenses. The dash lights do not light but I never fixed the problem because I never drive this vehicle at night. The convertible top has been replaced during restoration and is in very good condition but the rear window has some blemishes from folding it down. (This beautiful MGB has WON first place and second place twice in Utah car shows.) I have invested $15,000 buying and finish restoring this vehicle and due to the economy will most likely loose money. But I have to look at the fun times my wife and I had driving this car in parades and entering car shows and a occasional ride to the National Parks in our area. This is the most fun car I ever driven and will miss it. Over all this car is mostly driven in parades and to and from car shows in southern Utah. SHIPPING : WILL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE HIGHEST BIDDER. DEPOSIT: ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS DEPOSIT INTO MY PAYPAL SEVEN DAYS FROM CLOSING OF AUCTION. PAYMENT: FINAL PAYMENT DUE WHEN UPON TAKING POSITION OF CAR. THIS VEHICLE SOLD AS IS, NO WARRANTY. THANKS FOR LOOKING.
