This is a Virginia Inspected 1997 Volvo 850 T-5 turbocharged wagon with good miles. It runs and drives with no problem and is being sold with no reserve. The 2.3L five cylinder turbocharged engine purrs along without a miss or smoke. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly without hesitation. The brakes, steering and suspension are good. No exhaust leaks. No mechanical issues. Drive it anywhere. The exterior is a glossy black with no major dings or dents. It does have the typical scratches you might find on a black family car. Don't expect perfect. The clear coat is chipping on the roof from sun exposure (see pic). The tires, on factory alloy wheels, have about 20% tread (see pic). The lights and lenses are bright, clear and crack free. The interior is in very good condition. No cracks in the heated leather seats. The carpets are clean. All the power options such as sunroof, side mirrors, windows, locks, etc. work as designed. The climate control and AC work perfectly. There is a factory premium sound system with CD and cassette. It has the information center. We think the interior is in better than average condition for the age. This great family car is ready for the new owner. It has plenty of life left.
