Vehicle Detail
Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Historic, Factory Original Mopar For Sale 1 of 1 This vehicle is in the Galen Govier Registry. His letter is in sale. In summary he said: Your 1974 Dodge Charger Coupe is one of the last Ever built, there are a few others but not with these combination of options, which make it 1 of 1. The chance of finding another vin with these options is 5%. This car has the 318 engine and amazingly enough a 1 barrel carb. Odometer reads 20, 800 with minimal wear on the pedals which could indicate original miles (cannot verify this fact). I cannot say enough about how extremely reliable this car is. You can park it for 6 months, come back and it fires up first time every time. The engine runs quite and the tranny shifts smooth. Goes straight down the street, no pulling to the sides. The ease and the responsiveness of this ride is a pleasure to experience and has the added benefit of a phenomenal gas mileage, probably because of the one barrel carb. Also gets lots of attention and thumbs up. There are the unavoidable scuffs and dents of an un-restored classic, has some paint fading on roof and rear right bottom of quarter panel could use TLC. But the overall condition is very straight and solid, including the under carriage with only mild surface rust. All glass, chrome, trim and tires are A-OK. Has nice Keystone Cragar Mags. Brakes, lights, wipers, gauges and so on work. Has good sounding Sony CD player with 6 x 9 speakers. The interior is as follows: Dash has new pad. Front bench could use a new cover, padding is fine. Top of rear bench is apart at seams. Capet is good. Has been garaged and well maintained. Engine oil used is Penn Grade High Zinc oil with Mobile One filter. All fluids are fresh including the rear differential. Except for cosmetics this cruiser needs nothing to be your very reliable daily driver and with each passing year inches closer to top spot in the category of last of its kind ever made known to exist. Also have for sale:Complete black interior including “MINT” buckets and rear bench. Rally gauge cluster, floor shift counsel with most linkage parts, grill and trim. Can be negotiated as part of this sale or is available to anyone who wants them “car buyer has first choice”. A friend helped me to get this listed my computer is down and I cannot respond to emails. On Aug-25-12 at 08:46:47 PDT, seller added the following information: PLEASE NOTE: I was shown how to check the carb and the vehicle does not have a 1 barrel carb it has a 2 barrel carb. I apologize for the misinformation!
