This Explorer is Super Nice!! This Explorer runs and drives great. Adult owned and always maintained on time. Most of the miles are highway miles. This Explorer starts right up everytime. There are no leaks or smoke. It drives great on the road with no shaking or vibrations. The 4.0L engine runs great with good power and no hesitations. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly through all gears. The 4 wheel drive works great in the snow. The brakes work great and the tires are new with a fresh alignment. This explorer drives smoothly with a very comfortable ride. This is a very reliable and fuel efficient SUV. It gets 21mpg on the highway and seats 7 people! The hide-away seats work perfect and are awesome. The stereo sounds great with the new speakers. Couple things to note, the abs light on the dash is on due to a loose/faulty sensor (easy fix). It does not affect the brakes. Also, this Explorer has the common torque converter rattle. It sounds like a small exhaust leak at idle. Its been like this for the last 130k miles. This does not affect the drivability of the vehicle. Transmission works perfect. Just a noise that Ford states is a characteristic of the Explorer. Engine light comes on once in awhile (o2 sensor code). Engine light is not on and has not been for a long time. This Explorer is super reliable and it travels across the country weekly with no problems. Cruise controls works perfectly too. The exterior is very clean for its age and miles. It was always cleaned and detailed regularly. The paint still shines like new. There are no big scratches, dents, or rust. There are a couple rock chips, but not alot. There are 2 minor button size dings and some small superficial scratches but thats it. Overall, this Explorer looks great. The interior is very clean as well. The leather interior looks new with the only area of wear being on the left side of the drivers seat. All buttons and gadgets work perfectly. Every power option works great. Very clean interior with no issues. This Explorer is the XLT with the Off-Road Package. Some of the options are 4WD, 4-Wheel ABS, A/C, Rear A/C, Power Windows, Power Locks, Power Mirrors, Cruise Control, Power Steering, Tilt Wheel, Digital Compass and Temp Display, AM/FM Stereo, CD, Cassette, New Premium Speakers, Dual Airbags, Power Drivers Seat, Leather, 3rd Row Seating, Privacy Glass, Roof Rack, Towing Package, Premium Wheels, Fog Lights, Keyless Pad and Remote Entry, Auto Dimming Rearview Mirror, and so much more.. This Explorer has been maintained regularly with no expense spared.
