Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my 1991 CRX Si (That's Spanish for 'yes'). It's a glorified rolling chassis. It does run with a jump start, however, it does have a blown head gasket. The body could use a paint job, but outside of a few dints and dings and a missing passenger side view mirror, the body is in really good shape. This car has a dismantled interior, but most of the pieces are there and are original to the car, but it's all in rough shape. The Si has A/C option, but the compressor is dead and will have to be replaced. The a/c bezel is cracked which is nothing uncommon with these guys. It has good glass with no cracks on any of the windows/windshields. The gaskets around the trunk will need to be replaced, since they do leak. It has the sunroof option, and the motor does work, but it is weak and will open or close about 50% of the time. It has a bit of surface rust throughout the car, but nothing that can't be sanded down. The car also acquired a bit of yellow road paint right behind the passenger front tire. The front tires will need replacing, but the rear rubber is almost brand new. The gorgeous thing is the notorious spots about the wheels, there is just a touch of rust above the passenger side, and none above the driver's side! I bought this car locally 4 years ago with 211000 miles on it. It has the original Si rims, motor, transmission, and seats. The transmission never gave me any problems. I had replaced the brake master cylinder at about 220000. I didn't have any other problems with the car. As I've said, as it sits right now, it's a glorified chassis. It needs a battery and a rebuild (or new engine, or in the very least a head gasket... but it's time for a rebuild.) The trunk cover is in two pieces but probably could be reattached with a couple of hinges from the Home Depot. Email me with any questions. You will need to pick this car up, since I'm not offering shipping, but you will be 2 hours from the beach, so it's worth the trip!
