Up for bid 1989 Ford Mustang lx coupe. Engine- 1999 Cobra short block with 1996 cobra heads, cams and intake. New rings, bearings, oil pump, guide seals, and gaskets less than 5000 miles. Trans- 2001 Mustang Cobra Tremec, Pro 5.0 shifter with steeda knob, Luk stage 2 gold clutch with less than 500 miles Rear end- 8.8 with 9 inch bearings ends, Strange 31 spline axles with 3 inch screw in studs, aluminum rear end cover, 3.55 gears, 31 spline Ford track loc with carbon clutches Brakes- 2001 mustang GT front brakes, PBR calipers, braided brake lines front and rear. Explorer rear brakes.. Hurst line lock. Suspension- Weld in subframe connectors, stock gt springs with 1 coil removed. Stock rear sway bar. Maximum Motorsports caster/camber plates, Steeda bump steer kit, Upr adjustable rear control arms, Upr adjustable upper control arms. Steeda spherical bushings Exhaust- stock 03 cobra manifolds, Bassani high flow cat x pipe, Summit racing cat back kit. Very quiet exhaust. Tires and wheels- the wheels and tires are new and have less than 1500 miles on them. Wheels are American Racing Torque Thrust 2 with Shelby center caps. tires are 245/45/zr17 front and 275/40/zr17 rear. Tires are Ohtsu Zexus xi326. -Misc- 3 core copper radiator, driveshaft loop, battery relocated torear in aluminum battery box, shut off switch, 130 amp circuit breaker on charge wire routed to rear mount battery, Alpine cd player, Steeda underdrive pulleys. Custom SCT chip in 98 cobra pcm. Car has power steering and power brakes which is very rare on a swap like this. The Car has catalytic converters and should pass smog with no issues. I put new carpet with double sound deadener in it. The front and rear seats were recovered in black. The underside of the car is undercoated. It has all new bushings from front to rear. Braided fuel lines from the tank to the engine bay, Cleanable fuel filter mounted in factory location. Tailpipes are included but not installed. The engine bay has been smoothed, All wiring and Brake lines hidden. Car has a custom digital instrument cluster with tach/ speedo / oil pressure / water temp / fuel level / and battery volts. It can also log top speed, 0-60, and ¼ miles. The car runs and drives great, Handles amazing, And gets good MPG. (25-26 hwy). Im sure the car would run in 12's It has a good power to weight ratio. The car made 290Whp on the dyno, It weighs around 2900#. The car is in Good condition It gets compliments everywhere it goes. This is not a thrown together car It is built very well. The car does have a couple minor flaws. The drivers door has a couple dents near the fender and rear of door (see pics) They are not that bad but are there. the rear bumper has some minor spider webbing in the paint. You really only notice it when you are within 3feet of it. This is a great all around car that can be daily driven or raced on the weekends.
