For sale is my 1959 Plymouth Fury This car was sold new on 8/22/59 at Desert motors in las vegas nevada to Dudley and Violet pollard.The car stayed in navada until about 7or 8 years ago when it was brought to michigan and put in a car collection on the westside of the state. Factory options Fury trim 318 V8 2bbl 3 speed pushbutton automatic Power steering Power brakes Solex tinted glass all the way around Rear bumper guards Push button radio Heater And had dealer installed air conditioning (some parts still present) This car runs and drives excellent has rebuilt motor and transmission.Nice smooth ride, starts, stops, and does everything very well.It's had a bunch of new parts and work put in over the last 2 years New stuff- Paint in 2010 Bright red with soft white top new front tires new complete front brakes rebuilt carb new carpet new lancer hub caps Trunk detailed Some things that could still be done: Door jambs are still original paint (Nice thing is you can see how soild this thing is) Headliner is shot,not saging of falling but has many holes in it Package tray is srunk up from the heat could be redone Brake lights not working, could be a ground or the switch went bad not sure E brake is a little weak will hold car fine on level ground, but rolls on incline Clock not working Horn ring missing Nothin big but want everyone to know! This fury really needs nothing to drive and enjoy right now,Chrome is nice, Paint looks very nice not a 5,000 doller job but very nice. Interior is very nice, a mix of new and some original parts.Seats are great, door panels nice, dash looks great too.All lights work including dome.All gauges work great spedometer nice and smooth.Floors, rockers, floor supports,wheelwells,fenders,doors and dog legs all rust free.Trunk floor had 2 small holes in the water chanel and they were striped and patched the car didn't need a new floor the rest of it was really nice.
