MUST SELL!!!! It has been a real pleasure driving this fine automobile but now I have to sell it due to loss of job. All this car needs is a new owner. This car needs nothing except for an A/C recharge. Please remember that it is 25 years old and will show some signs of time, but looks great and drives perfect for it age. It has no visible rust and the wood shifter panel has cracks. Windows are tinted, chrome wheels and chrome fender trim was added. A fine car for the price. Mechanically rated: 9/10 Engine starts and runs quiet. Steady idle and runs strong. Passed Ohio E check. The car has 236K miles but the engine had been replaced when I purchased it. The previous owner stated that he replaced it with a 420 SEL engine that had only 86,000 miles. I never received documentation of that mileage, but by doing some research I found that the engine has indeed been replaced because it does not match the original motor ID tag that was built with the car. The timing chain was checked for slack and was found to be within specs. Engine runs perfect and does not smoke. Transmission shifts smooth. No oil, transmission or vacuum leaks. Electrically rated : 9/10 All windows, seats, mirror, sunroof, locks and lights work properly except for a couple switches on the console which do not light up at dark. As stated the A/C probably needs to be recharged. I could not find anyone in my area who could recharge using F12 freon. Every gauge in the instrument cluster works properly. The rear automatic antenna works, but is slow to rise. I also added some things for my own pleasure like: 1. Replaced seats and door panels with those from a 1991 420 SEL. The seats are designed better, more comfortable and have leather backrest pockets instead of nets. The door panels have extra padding on window arm rests, cup holders installed and 6" midrange speakers integrated. Also from that car, the center console has a wood locking storage compartment that was added, 2. The original stereo was replaced with an Alpine CD player and the car was rewired for 6 speakers and 2 subwoofers. The rear deck was replaced to accomodate two 6x9 speakers and two 6" subwoofers. There is also a 100 watt amp mounted in the trunk. I still have the original deck and first aid kit if you want it. 3. The front grill is aftermarket and looks great, but I have the original grill if you want that too. 4. The windows are tinted, turning signals are smoke and so are the rear tail light assembly. 5. I have many other spare parts that you can have such as switches , altenator, OPV etc etc that I will just give to the buyer. I just picked them up to have just in case.
