This is a beautiful, low mileage, rock-solid dependable Porsche 928. I purchased the vehicle about a year ago from the second owner(PO), clean carfax, no accidents/damage history reported. I have no documentation prior to my ownership, PO reported car owned by woman who's son was a Porsche mechanic. Since my ownership I have had the vehicle gone thru from bumper to bumper by a Porsche certified master mechanic. I have receipts for over $6000. I have invested $8500+ in mechanics and cosmetics, not including the purchase price. Beautiful fresh paint in factory Platinum Metallic 655, (see pictures). Over $2000 on interior freshening, much too much to recall/list here. 18 inch Porsche wheels with good rubber. Mechanics/electrical; air conditioning refurbished and upgraded to R134A, blows ice cold. tie rods adjusted, power locks repaired, heater valve replaced, new brakes, air injection pump rebuilt, headlight switch, belts replaced as needed, new plugs, air filter, fluids, all electrics diagnosed and repaired, etc, etc. Except as noted below, everything works properly. Everything under the hood, and electrics, switch gear, trans., etc., has been checked and tested by a Porsche master mechanic and replaced or repaired/refurbished as needed. The V8 rumbles to life with the first twist of the key and shifts and drives beautifully. Needs: gas gauge quit working, passenger power mirror working off and on, rear wiper recently stopped working. That's it, to my (and my mechanic's) knowledge everything is functioning as it should. I have much more invested in the restoring of this car (not factoring in my purchase price) than the reserve reflects. If you want a very nice looking and dependable exotic, this is your car. It draws attention everywhere I take it. Having said that, it is a 30 year old vehicle that comes with no warranty. Shipping is buyer's responsibility at buyer's expense.
