Vehicle Detail

This is a beautiful car. It was originally a southern vehicle, spending most of its life in Oklahoma until the 1990's. The mileage listed is 74722. I'm not certain that this is original, and an appraisal from 2001 claims that the transmission and engine had been installed after the 351 Windsor was rebuilt. Just over 1000 miles have been put on this car in 11 years! It does have some imperfections, but nothing difficult to fix. My father-in-law is tired of having this car take up space in his garage and he rarely drives it. This is a great car for somebody who wants to do some minor restoration work but wants to enjoy a great car immediately. There is a collection of extra parts that was left in the trunk including the two visors, an extra dashboard, dash pieces and a bunch of extras shown in one of the pictures. I just went out to start it and even though it's been sitting for a while, it started right up. I drove it around and tested things out and found only minor imperfections. The imperfections that I have seen (and taken pictures of) are as follows:EXTERIOR: - Rust around driver rear wheel well- Small rust bubbles around passenger rear wheel well- Two small chips on the hood (smaller than a quarter)- A large paint bubble on the hood (about 3 inch diameter)- Two small chips of paint on hood (pencil eraser size)- 3 inch scratch on passenger fender- Surface rust under drivers floor board INTERIOR:- minor surface rust on metal dash pieces- minor surface rust in trunk- visors have fallen off (missing brackets but comes with both visors)- tears in the headliner (Drivers side front and passenger side rear) - two small holes where I assume somebody installed speaker wires improperly- missing 3 of 4 window cranks MECHANICAL- Occasionally the starter slips (could use a new starter)- Gas gauge is not working Overall, this car is in very good shape for its age. The rocker panels are rust free. I have listed all the known flaws. It is a great car for somebody who wants to do some minor repair work and enjoy a restored beauty. I am willing to drive the car up to 50 miles and willing to pick up anyone from the Grand Rapids, MI airport. Feel free to send me any questions, I will respond as soon as I see your questions and have the answers. If you have 0 feedback I need to know two things before you bid - your city/state and how you intend on transporting. I expect paypal or cash if your new to e-bay also. Enjoy, and happy bidding!
