You are bidding on a vintage and rare 1973 Pontiac Ventura Custom 2 Door Coupe. This is a very cool car. Because this car has what I understand is the Pontiac "X-Body" of the 1970's, it looks like and it is sometimes mistaken for a Nova. More importantly, it runs and sounds great! It is very fast and it roars. The car has an automatic transmission. It originally had a 350 CID engine which was replaced with a 400 CID engine which came from 1973 Pontiac Safari wagon. It is a factory AC car. The odometer show 73877 miles on it. This car was purchased from second owner who owned it since 1998. It has a California Salvage Title and current California registration which is good through June 2013. I am not sure why the car has the Salvage Title designation. Insurances companies sometimes make the decision when cars in accidents are classics. All I know is that the car previously had a light front end hit and left fender, grille and bumper were replaced. There is no visible frame damage. This car was previously restored and it is very nice condition. It is painted shiny red with a black vinyl top and black vinyl interior. The vinyl top and interior are in like new condition. The red paint is nice but not perfect. For example, it has scratch marks on end of the front left fender and a key mark above the handle of the left door. The car has no dents. The car was originally a white color but looks very cool in red. The car is lowered in the front. It has Camaro rally wheels with beauty rings and center caps. It has newer Michelin Energy MX-V4 205/60/215 tires. It has a Sony XR-C210 AM/FM cassette stereo with removal face and an Infinity front and rear speaker system. It has leather racing sport steering wheel with Pontiac logo center cap. The headliner and sun visors are in great condition. The bucket seats and rear seat covers in new condition. The dash has a crack near the right side of the cluster control and above the AC/heater controls area. This is common with classic cars with padded dashboards. The car has SunPro gauges with Amps, Temp and Oil. As mentioned, this is a factory AC car but the AC pump missing. It has the "Custom" logos on dash, door panels and each side of vinyl top. Funds must clear my bank before the car is released. Out of state cashier’s transactions take longer to clear. The car is currently stored in indoor storage at my expense. As such the car must be picked up 7 days after auction close or storage fees may apply. Shipping is the responsibility of the new owner.
