LOW MILEAGE 2002 DODGE RAM 3500 QUADCAB 4X4, ARIZONA TRUCK IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. WITH 67.900 ORIGINAL MILES THE DODGE IS BARELY BROKEN IN! PLEASE NOTE, THIS TRUCK WAS DAMAGED AT 44,000 MILES, ABOUT 2 YEARS AGO. WE BOUGHT IT FROM AN INSURANCE COMPANY HERE IN ARIZONA SO IT HAS A RESTORED/SALVAGE TITLE. IF SALVAGE/RESTORED TITLE DOES NOT WORK FOR YOU THIS IS NOT THE TRUCK FOR YOU. WITH THAT SAID, THE TRUCK WAS SOLD NEW IN TUCSON, ARIZONA WHERE THE ORIGINAL OWNER USED IT MOSTLY TO CARRY A CAMPER ON THE BACK. THE REST OF THE TIME IT WAS GARAGED. HE ONLY CLOCKED 44,000 MILES ON THE ODOMETER IN 8 YEARS. WE BOUGHT IT ABOUT 2 YEARS AGO WITH FRONT END DAMAGE, EXCEPT FOR THE DAMAGE IT WAS LIKE NEW. IT WAS TAKEN TO WESTGATE PAINT AND COLLISION IN PHOENIX AND THEY PULLED A LITTLE ON THE RIGHT FRONT FRAME RAIL. THEY CHECKED THAT THE FRAME WAS STRAIGHT AND TRUE AND WE HAD THEM PAINT THE FRONT FENDERS AND THE HOOD ON THE INSIDE BUT WE NEVER DID REPAINT THE FRONT SHEETMETAL ON THE OUTSIDE. DMV DID A LEVEL 3 INSPECTION ON THE DODGE AFTER THE REPAIRS WERE DONE AND WE RECIVED A RESTORED TITLE. I HAVE USED THE DODGE AS MY EVERYDAY DRIVER SINCE THEN AND IT IS ONE OF THE BEST TRUCKS I HAVE EVER OWNED. I WOULD NEVER SELL IT BUT WE HAVE 4 GRANDKIDS AND I BOUGHT A 2007 DODGE RAM WITH A BIGGER BACKSEAT SO NOW THE 2002 HAS TO GO. IF IT IS SELLS ON EBAY THAT IS FINE, IF NOT I WILL REPAINT THE COMPLETE TRUCK AND THEN SELL IT. WE HAVE TOWED OUR 36 FOOT GOOSENECK TRAVEL TRAILER 3 TIMES AND HAD A LARGE CAMPER ON THE BED ONCE AND I DON'T THINK YOU CAN FIND A BETTER TRUCK TO TOW WITH. IT HANDLES THE WEIGHT WITH NO PROBLEM AT ALL. IF I WAS KEEPING THE TRUCK, I MIGHT ADD A SHIFT KIT FOR THE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. IT HAS LOW MILES ON IT AND WORKS FINE BUT WITH THE TORQUE OF THE CUMMINS IT WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE A FIRM SHIFT. IT HAS AN UPGRADED STAINLESS EXHAUST, EDGE JUICE WITH ATTITUDE, PROGRAMMER WITH 5 SETTINGS SHOWING A BUNCH OF DATA AND AN AFTERMARKET AIRFILTER. I HAVE NEVER TOUCHED THE PROGRAMMER, IT DRIVES SO GREAT I NEVER NEEDED TO CHANGE ANYTHING! ABOUT 3 MONTHS AGO I DID THE FRONT BRAKES INC A NEW ROTOR ON THE RIGHT SIDE. THE TRUCK HAS MOST OPTIONS EXCEPT FOR LEATHER INTERIOR AND HEATED SEATS. IT HAS PW, P-SEAT WITH LUMBAR SUPPORT, PDL, TILT STEERING WHEEL, COLD A/C, COMPUTER WITH ALL KINDS OF FUNCTIONS, AFTERMARKET STEREO WITH SATELLITE RADIO, CD ETC, TOWING MIRRORS, SLIDING REAR WINDOW, TINTED WINDOWS, IT ALSO HAS AIRBAGS FOR THE REAR SUSPENSION WITH GAUGES AND SWITCHES IN THE CAB, I DON'T KNOW WHY SINCE IT DOES NOT NEED THEM! THE PAINT IS THE ONLY THING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT ON THE TRUCK. IF YOU WANT A REALLY NICE LOOKING DODGE RAM IT WILL NEED REPAINT. THERE'S A FEW SMALL DINGS HERE AND THERE AND MINOR DAMAGE ON THE RIGHT REAR DUALLY FENDER, EASY REPAIR. THE INTERIOR IS VERY NICE, MECHANICALLY THE DODGE IS ALMOST LIKE NEW, EVERYTHING WORKS LIKE IT IS SUPPOSED TO. THE TIRES ARE GOOD, PROBABLY 50% IN THE REAR AND 90% IN FRONT. I HAVE NEVER USED THE 4 WHEEL DRIVE, WE DON'T NEED IT HERE IN SOUTHERN ARIZONA, BUT I TESTED IT LAST WEEKEND AND IT WORKES FINE. IN MY MIND THE 2002 DODGE CUMMINS DIESEL IS THE BEST DODGE TRUCK EVER BUILT, I WOULD NEVER CONSIDER SELLING IT BUT THE GRANDKIDS ARE GROWING AND THE BACKSEAT IS TOO SMALL FOR THEM AND WE HAD TO BUY A TRUCK WITH A LARGER BACKSEAT. THE DODGE SHOULD HAVE ANOTHER 500,000-700,000 MILES TO GO IF IT IS TAKEN CARE OFF! I HAVE SEVERAL FRIENDS WHO OWN DODGE RAMS, CUMMINS DIESEL TRUCKS WITH OVER 700.000 TO OVER A MILLION MILES ON THEM AND THEY STILL USE THEM TO PULL LOADED CAR TRAILERS, ONE A SINGLE CAR TRAILER AND ONE A 3 CAR TRAILER EVERYDAY! THE DODGE IS OWNED BY OUR BUSINESS SO ARIZONA BUYERS WILL HAVE TO PAY SALES TAX. I GET WHAT IS CALLED A "DEAD PEDAL" TWICE WHILE DRIVING HOME SO ON TUESDAY MORNING WE CHECKED THE DODGE FOR CODES AND WE GET TWO CODES, ONE FOR "FUEL TOO HOT" AND ONE SHOWING THE INJECTION PUMP IS GOING OUT! I CAN'T SELL THE DODGE WITH A BAD PUMP SO WE BOUGHT A NEW FACTORY REBUILT BOSCH PUMP ON THE SPOT. THE SALES PERSON AT SOUTH WEST DIESEL HERE IN PHOENIX HAD SOLD 6 VP44 PUMPS IN ONE DAY, HE SAID THAT HAD NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE. THEY GO OUT BECAUSE THE DIESEL GETS TO HOT AND DAMAGE A MEMBRANE IN THE PUMP IS WHAT HE TOLD ME. SO TOMORROW, WEDNESDAY THE NEW PUMP WILL BE INSTALLED AND THE NEW OWNER WILL GET A $2000 NEW PUMP INCLUDED IN THE PRICE AND IT IS UNDER WARRENTY OF COURSE!
