Up for Auction; My 1968 Plymouth Road Runner. This is a 3 owner car which I have owned over 6 years, unfortunately the time has come to sell it. I have worked steady on it and driven this car for 6 years, on weekends.I bought my Road Runner from a College Proffessor. He then parked it in his back yard where it sat under a tarp for over 10 years when I rescued it. It has all the original drive train to include the 383 HP, 3.55 Sure Grip & torqueflite. I have accomplished a lot of good work on this car, to include; rebuilding the engine, installing a BRAND NEW Legendary Pearl White interior, a '69 N96 Hood, AMD trunk & quarters. I just had a new windshield installed by a local shop 3 weeks ago. I removed the original due to fogging. All the body panels are aligned real close as are all the gaps, all are straight. The floors are clean and 98% rust free. I have also installed new brakes, complete to include wheel cylinders, shoes, all the lines, hoses, master cylinder. The fuel system is completely new also, front to back. The car obviously needs to be block sanded sealed and painted. The tires are the THIRD only set of bias ply ever on the vehicle, so of course they need to be changed. I have the Build sheet, fender tag, receipts back to the original owner and Dealer ! Original owners manual, loads of receipts from 1968 up to yesterday. This car drives and runs great ! It's powerful and it fires right up with one pump and a touch of the key. The inside needs the headliner installed, carpet obviously, and kick panels under the dash. I have lots of stuff to go with the car, original carb, distributor, new rear window trim for the inside, new rear sail panels for the headliner, The engine internals include new Mopar cam & lifters, edelbrock double roller, carb, Mopar Electronic Ign. also new rings, cam, main, rod brngs, gaskets, Napa Gold alternator, new hoses, belts, filters, fluids etc. Car drives good, doesn't vibrate or pull, you can let go off the wheel going down the road. On Aug-12-12 at 05:29:29 PDT, seller added the following information: I have lowered the reserve because unfortunately I failed to add two significant items, the gas gauge and temperature gauge are not working, i'm not sure whats wrong with them. Any ideas would be appreciated, so I may get them fixed. Also the back side windows roll down, they are scratched. I think they will need replacing, they are 150 ea. at AMD. I'm sorry about that. I lowered the reserve to reflect that. I added a pic of the spare red wall tire and jack. The tire is excellent as is the jack & hold down.
