OverviewI'm the original owner of this 2005 Ford Focus ZX5 SES 4-door hatchback. The SES is the top-of-the-line ZX model that includes alloy wheels, fog lights, A/C, folding rear seats, dual map lights, tilt/telescoping wheel, leather wrapped steering wheel, steering wheel-mounted audio controls, and interior tailgate release. The SES version includes cruise control, slide and tilt moonroof, dual heated seats, power heated mirrors, electronic stability control, 6-disc CD changer, and 16" alloy wheels. Paint color is called Sonic Blue. This one has a 4-speed automatic and cruise control. I special ordered this car and took delivery August 2005. Current mileage is 46,886 as of the date of this listing, averaging about 7,800 miles per year. Oil and filter changes have been done regularly using 5W20 regular (not synthetic) oil. There have been no accidents or maintenance issues. Two things to point out on the exterior. First there is a two foot long door scratch extending fron the drivers door to the passenger door. I originally thought I'd been keyed but the randomnesss of the scratch makes me think it was a runaway shopping cart. It has been painted over with touchup paint but it's still visible from five feet away. I tried taking pics but the scratch doesn't show up very well. Just be aware that it is there. The other is a one foot diameter wavy area on the right side back door towards the bottom. I backed into the door with another car which caused a dent. The dent was easily pushed out but a slight waviness still exists. I tried to show this in the pics as well but it doesn't show up very well. Again, please be aware. Mechanically the car is perfect. Oil and filter were changed approximately 40 miles ago. The paint gets waxed twice each year. It drives perfectly. Sunroof both tilts and slides back into the roof and it works perfectly. Front tires are new as of spring 2012 and rear are new as of spring 2011. There may be the occasional paint chip but I take care of these when found. Can't think of anything else to say so please ask questions if I'm missing anything. The interior is excellent as well. Carpet is clean, floor mats look clean with no abnormal wear. Both of us are non-smokers so this has never been smoked in. The back seats fold down to extend the trunk space. There is also a detachable back shelf that also acts as a screen to hide the trunk space. The emergency spare has never been used. The car comes with everything it came with when new including two keys, two remotes, all owners manuals, the key number cards (in case you need additional keys), the original window sticker, and whatever else was in the new car packet. I'm selling to make way for a recently-purchased Subaru Baja which is better suited to my journeys into the surrounding foothills and mountains.
