1972 Mercedes-Benz 600 Grosser SWB. Up for auction is a MBZ 600. This car actually starts easily, idles well, does not smoke and moves forward and back under its' own power. We have had the car running this week for 15-30 minutes at a time and it has run cool, it's been around 100 degrees in Fresno this week. The brakes work, the car has only been driven at low speeds around our premises.....the car has not been fully roadworthy for a while. This car was parked by us a couple of years ago in one of our buildings, at that that time some of the hydraulic systems were working (the sunfroof, cowl vent, some windows and back seat), they are not working now. The air ride suspension was staying up in the rear for about a week, and the front for a couple of days......this week the car was not going up (one air bladder had ruptured, we replaced it with a new one), but the air ride is not working right now and is staying up with the help of blocks. The center gauge cluster does work, the reverse lights and brake lights work. The previous owner had started to do some work on the car and had it painted, it has picked up some small chips and a few small door dings. Other than the tachometer the car looks to be complete. The interior is original and as you can see, it needs to be redone. Any items that you do not see are in some boxes in the trunk (may only be missing very minor items). The interior is loosely placed in the car, just to show that the parts belong to the car. Overall the car is very solid, the only rust issues are a two areas on the bottom floor of the car (on the outside, softball size).
