This is a nice 1997 Volkswagen Cabrio that runs and drives 100% with no mechanical issues. This clean car is being sold with no reserve. The 1.9L four cylinder engine purrs along without smoke or a miss. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly without hesitation or slipping. The brakes, steering and suspension seem good. No exhaust leaks. No "check engine" lights. The exterior is in good condition with no major dings or dents. There are some minor scratches that one might find on a black car. They are too small for the camera. No rust. No windshield chips or cracks. The lights and lenses are bright and clear. The manual top does not leak and is in good condition. It has been repaired on a seam above the rear window (see pic). The rear window is clear. The tires, on factory alloy wheels. have about 35% tread (see pic). The interior is in good condition with no unusual wear areas. The heated leather seats, especially the driver seat, have minor wear (see pic). No holes or rips in the carpet. There is an after market CD player. The heat is hot and the AC is cold. Don't think the cruise is working. It has power windows and side mirrors. The passenger window is not working. Despite the miles, this car runs and drives without issues and has no indication of any impending problems. The winning bidder will have no problems driving this car home, no matter where they live. This summer fun car is being sold by a Maryland Used Car Dealer. We require, on ALL internet sales, a $200 internet fee which covers document, clerical, airport transportation and all other auction related expenses.
