Today I have my 1979 MG Midget for sale; this is the last year they made em! I am selling the car because I simply never drive it, about once a week or so I run it around the block to keep it fresh but that is about it. The car is in Daytona Beach FL, there are no tags on it at the moment but it can easily be registered and insured as a classic for very cheap. The car looks great for its age, the top is like new, the paint is in good condition with a couple small rust bubbles (see pics) and the interior is also great, seats are a little faded but no rips or tears, dash is great. The car runs and drives great, occasional dry start but that’s typical for these. Top works great and comes with a cover; car also comes with a spare. The car handles great, also gets great gas mileage. Clean title in hand. The good: - Car has 40,XXX All original Miles!!!!! - Paint, Top, and interior are all in great shape for its age! - Tires have tons of tread on them. - 4 speed shifts perfectly into all gears including reverse. - Top functions great, no leaks, comes with tonneau cover - All lights work great, as do the wipers - Engine bay is immaculate - Lots of maintenance done, with receipts The bad: - Some rust, (from years ago when car was in MA) mostly under bumper and not visible. - Radio won’t turn on, most likely the fuse.
