THIS CIVIC IS FAST, CLEAN, AND BEAUTIFUL! RARE FIND!! Overview: This 98 Civic Hatch is one of the nicest and cleanest I've ever seen. Adult owned and garage kept. Alot of money has been spent to make this Civic the way it is today. It has been a Florida car its whole life and has had only 3 owners. It all started with a stock 98 Civic DX Hatchback that was well cared for through 2011. Then the car was repainted oem Dark Amethyst Pearl in July 2011 because it had clear coat damage from the Florida sun (See Paint Videos Below). Immediately after that, the build started.. First on the list was the powerplant. A slightly wrecked 2001 Acura Integra GSR with 62,000 miles was found in Georgia (see pics). The B18C1 GSR motor was then compression and leak down tested and then the complete motor was purchased (see pics). From there on out, the motor was prepped for install (port and polish head, cometic head gasket, arp studs, ITR cams, Skunk2 Intake, ITR fuel rail and injectors, new seals and gaskets, ect, ect..*see list below*..). After that the motor was mated to a freshly rebuilt S80 Type R LSD Tranny. Soon after, the car was Dyno Tuned with NepTune and after many tweaks and 8 runs, it made a whopping 197whp and 142ft-lbs on 93 octane (see pics). After that, a complete parts list was ordered for the car and then immediately installed. The gray leather interior came from a 2006 Acura RSX Type S (Rare). The motor now has 70K miles and everything else has 8k miles. The car runs amazing. Its fast, clean, and well built (no cut corners). This Civic gets compliments everywhere it goes. Its a true head turner.. Physical Condition: This Civic's exterior is in excellent condition. No dents, scratches, or rust anywhere. It does have some minor paint chips from interstate driving and a few very minor superficial scratches from use. Nothing visible at all after walking around the car. Car shows like a new car. As stated earlier, in July 2011, this civic was repainted oem Dark Amethyst Pearl which is a super rare color only found on a limited amount of Civic Hatchbacks. I personally have never seen (in person) another Civic Hatch with this paint color. Its an expensive Pearl paint that changes colors. Its classified as a Blue, but it changes from deep black to deep blue to deep metallic purple. Its a very cool color, just look at all the pictures below. The headlights look new with no haze. The drivers side tail light shows some small internal spider cracks but you cant feel them. Not a big deal but worth noting. The interior is clean and simple. It has power windows from a 2000 Civic Si. The arm rests show a little wear but are clean. The 2006 RSX Type S Leather interior has very little wear and is very comfortable. All buttons and gadgets work properly. The oem carpet is clean but shows signs of use. A nice shampoo would revive it. The headliner has a few small holes from wear but no sagging issues. All in all, very clean interior. The engine bay is SUPER clean and very nice. No dirt, grease, or grime anywhere. Mechanical Condition: This Civic is very reliable. Car has only been driven on nice days but might as well be classified as a daily driver since the whether has been so nice. This Civic starts right up everytime. It has cold A/C and power steering. It has no leaks, no smoke, no dash warning lights, nothing. It drives great and performs flawlessly. The B18C1 GSR motor runs smooth and is very responsive with loads of power. Vtec kicks in very hard and it pulls great in every gear. The transmission shifts butter smooth in every gear at every rpm. The clutch engages and disengages properly and can effortlessly chirp the tires in third. The brakes work great with no noises or pulsations. The Coilover suspension rides firm but nice and is fully adjustable. The motor does have solid motor mounts with 88A ER bushings to limit engine movement and put the power to the ground, and you can feel the motor in the interior with some vibration. This car is fast for a N/A Civic, but by no means a ten second car. This Civic has never been to the track and never abused. Car was built to be a fun weekend car to drive to car shows. This Civic has new everything... New tires, new brakes, fresh oil, fresh coolant, newer battery, ect. This Civic has ALOT of High Quality Mods. Over $18000 in parts alone! $1500 in Paint and Body.
