Hello there! Here is this 98 VW Jetta TDI for sale that I personally bought a while ago to part it out, anyhow it has been sitting in the garage for about 3 years and I had decided to let somebody else use it as a distraction. There are plenty of work to do to this Jetta in order to put it back on the road in anycase that would be the final intention of yours. Cosmetically has issues with the windows, sunroof, radio, a/c, driver's seat and for sure some other things as well. The major issue is the engine which runs but is low on compression cylinders 1 and 2 are ok with 490 and 520psi but 3 has 88psi and 4 is 110psi. Don't exactly know what's wrong but that's the situation. My personal opinion as I mentioned is to use it for parts or maybe somebody that has a crashed Jetta and want to use good parts and implant them on this body, as far as the parts, injection pump, fuel injectors, turbo along with others are good. I recommend to tow this car to its new destination after you purchased it, anyhow if you're are an extreme person and want to drive it the way it is, up to you. Last time I had to move it around was a 100 miles trip, burnt 1/3 of the tank with plenty of smoke but we both got to our destination. Like I said up to you.
