Vehicle Detail

On the way to vacation, this Odyssey's transmission died. Sadly, it appears that transmission death is not uncommon in the 1999-2002 Odyssey. We have opted to offer it for sale, as-is. With the transmission shot, this car is NOT in drivable condition, though the engine is still working well and there are plenty of parts younger than its overall age. I am the second owner, and have had it very thoroughly maintained over the years. It could be fixed to become a nicely functional family vehicle again, or used as a parts-harvest for someone keeping another Odyssey running .. but ultimately, that would take much more time and/or skill than I've got to give it. Some details, to the best of my recollection: Axles and CVs replaced just a few weeks ago. Rear brakes done 12 days agoAftermarket leather seats intact, good or fair condition overall; worn in some spots (ie: driver's seat is showing some cracks), and pretty pristine in others (i.e. bench seat in back is in very good condition) Tires at 9/32 up front, 6/32 in rear, 20k miles on them (Coopers) Front brakes at 6mms front, new in rearshocks/struts not so goodBattery is goodBelts, hoses, bulbs and indicators all working well. Passenger-side power-sliding door does not always trigger from its own handle (works fine from key fob or dashboard buttons)Factory navigation system is fully functional. I believe there are software updates available, but I have not done any since I purchased it from the original owner in 2005Body has a few minor scuffs on the bumpers, one small hole in the front right bumper cover, which also could be reattached for a better fit on the right side. Otherwise, looks good! Engine mounts replaced 8/11Has a trailer hitch! (If additional or specific maintenance info is requested, I can attempt to dig it up) This Odyssey is being sold AS-IS, where-is. If you're bidding, you understand it is explicitly a project or a parts-source. I will help coordinate shipping, but the winning bidder assumes all responsibility and liability for actually doing so. Due to the nature of the way we got stranded in it, I have not been able to get it cleaned and detailed as I would ordinarily do if I were selling one of my cars. You will likely find some goldfish crumbs and dirty floor mats as a result. In addition to any dirt/stains on those mats, there is also a small bleach stain on the carpet in rear cargo area. The as-is condition should be assumed to include some general need to clean it up. Kelley Blue Book says this Odyssey would be worth $4250 (if fully operational) in "Fair" condition!! No reserve!
