This incredible 1969 Dodge A108 , is like a time machine from the heyday of Vannin’, and has had just TWO loving and careful owners for over 45 years!!! This van is like a time capsule of cool, and is an absolute hands down head turner wherever you take it! And is ready to drive ANYWHERE, right now! The van has regularly been driven and I have personally put about 650 miles on the van, and would not hesitate to fly in and drive it home to anywhere in the lower 48! THIS RARE FIND WAS FOUND UP IN MINNESOTA AND STORED FOR THE LAST 30 YEARS IN A BARN!!! PURCHASED & BROUGHT TO FLORIDA FOR ANOTHER PROJECT!!! The rare window wagon body, , is incredibly solid, super straight, rust and rot free, and shows wonderfully from every angle. The paint was refinished less than 1month ago, slick, and smooth just like in the 100 large photos below. IT WAS EXTREMLY DIFFICULT TO CAPTURE THE PEARL COLOR FROM ORANGE TO YELLOW COLOR!! The finish is bright and shiny, and looks just as good in the sun as it does cruising the boulevard at midnight WITH IT'S PEARL COLOR. The glass on the van is in exceptional condition, and only the windshield edges show light lamination issues, which are really not an issue at all. No chips, cracks, or broken edges anywhere, plus, The only thing that may need some attention is the rubber to front split window! Rubber surrounds on the windows are in great condition, and not brittle or dry. Vent windows open and close with ease, and the rear windows open as well. Windows, ALSO FRESHLY tinted with 90% black tint all the way around when it was being painted Chrome door handles are all in great condition. Wipers are fully function two speed units, and even have a working washer spray! The van rides on BRAND NEW TIRES. They are size P195/70R14 up front and P225/70R14 in the rear. Wheels are vintage CHROME SMOOTHIE wheels that show wonderfully, and should detail up even better when you get it home and spend some time cleaning the van! Chrome centers look great as well, and the whole wheel/tire set up screams vintage cool! The chassis of the van is clean and rock solid from front to back, with no rot, rust out, holes or issues evident. ALSO FRESHLY PAINTED BLACK ! Chassis has been constantly greased, maintained, and cleaned to make sure it is squak free, and the thing is as quiet as a church mouse on even the bumpiest roads! Shocks and springs are all good, and the ride is soft and comfortable without being sloppy. The straight axle front end is solid and sure, and the van steers super easy and tracks very straight, even at freeway speeds. Open up the doors, and you are greeted by an interior OF WHICH IS YOURS TO COMPLETE IN YOUR OWN TASTE AND WANTS !!!! Also having the seats freshley dyde for that New car look, the drivers seat was repaired but could use more attention, also painted ALL the fiberglass molding all the way arouvd the windows to a new black look of which All is in perfect shape to support the Only thing that needs to be added "your New carpet" & "Rubber door molding" as you look inside you will notice the ORIGINAL RUBBER matt that was put in the van by the factory in 1968....we decided ....to stop where we were at, so the NEW OWNER could see for themselves how clean this RARE find is from the walls to the doors ....like stated just add NEW CARPET AND MOLDING around the doors and she is FINISHED !!!!! Door panels are original plastic with leather and are in very good condition. Original door handles and window rollers are in very good condition as well Vinyl buckets are in fantastic condition. Factory gauges look great, and are all functional except for the speedo, which needs a new cable because the original was getting noisy. I believe it is still in place, if you want to hook it back up. The center console top can be flipped back to show the monster motor in this crazy show van! The 318 motor and 727 trans shows GREAT! but not show detailed, the motor looks great, and only needs a 4 barrel and headers to make it into a true hotrod but the strangers oohhhh and ahhhh when they see & hear it as it is! An 8 ¾ posi-trac rear end puts the power to the ground via a 727 automatic transmission with highway friendly 3.23 gears. The engine fires right up hot or cold, SOUNDS ROUGH AND TOUGH WITH A NEW GLASSPACK & idles super clean, and is about as proven reliable and dialed in as anything I have ever owned. It shifts smooth like silk, kicks down to pass, and has zero issues. I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH THAT THIS VAN IS READY TO ROLL ANYWHERE YOU WANT TO TAKE IT! It is not some backyard built, thrown together last weekend rat rod. This is a full custom show van that , carefully maintained and serviced by just ONE owner for over 30 years, and needs NOTHING to drive and enjoy right now! It is not a leaker, a weeper, and has no funny things going on. No rattles or squeaks, no odd handling or running characteristics, NOTHING! It is ready to go!!!! Brakes are in exceptional condition, and are not power, but bring the van down from speed easily, and without any adverse pull, fade, or wander. The van was designed for the long haul, and it rides down the road at 70 like nobody’s business! The van has regularly been driven and I have personally put about 650 miles on the van, and would not hesitate to fly in and drive it home to anywhere in the lower 48! THIS RARE FIND WAS FOUND UP IN MINNESOTA AND STORED FOR THE LAST 30 YEARS IN A BARN!!! PURCHASED & BROUGHT TO FLORIDA FOR ANOTHER PROJECT!!!
The rare window wagon body, , is incredibly solid, super straight, rust and rot free, and shows wonderfully from every angle.
The paint was refinished less than 1month ago, slick, and smooth just like in the 100 large photos below. IT WAS EXTREMLY DIFFICULT TO CAPTURE THE PEARL COLOR FROM ORANGE TO YELLOW COLOR!!
The finish is bright and shiny, and looks just as good in the sun as it does cruising the boulevard at midnight WITH IT'S PEARL COLOR.
The glass on the van is in exceptional condition, and only the windshield edges show light lamination issues, which are really not an issue at all. No chips, cracks, or broken edges anywhere, plus, The only thing that may need some attention is the rubber to front split window!
Rubber surrounds on the windows are in great condition, and not brittle or dry. Vent windows open and close with ease, and the rear windows open as well. Windows, ALSO FRESHLY tinted with 90% black tint all the way around when it was being painted
Chrome door handles are all in great condition.
Wipers are fully function two speed units, and even have a working washer spray!
The van rides on BRAND NEW TIRES. They are size P195/70R14 up front and P225/70R14 in the rear.
Wheels are vintage CHROME SMOOTHIE wheels that show wonderfully, and should detail up even better when you get it home and spend some time cleaning the van! Chrome centers look great as well, and the whole wheel/tire set up screams vintage cool!
The chassis of the van is clean and rock solid from front to back, with no rot, rust out, holes or issues evident. ALSO FRESHLY PAINTED BLACK !
Chassis has been constantly greased, maintained, and cleaned to make sure it is squak free, and the thing is as quiet as a church mouse on even the bumpiest roads!
Shocks and springs are all good, and the ride is soft and comfortable without being sloppy. The straight axle front end is solid and sure, and the van steers super easy and tracks very straight, even at freeway speeds.
Open up the doors, and you are greeted by an interior OF WHICH IS YOURS TO COMPLETE IN YOUR OWN TASTE AND WANTS !!!! Also having the seats freshley dyde for that New car look, the drivers seat was repaired but could use more attention, also painted ALL the fiberglass molding all the way arouvd the windows to a new black look of which All is in perfect shape to support the Only thing that needs to be added "your New carpet" & "Rubber door molding"
as you look inside you will notice the ORIGINAL RUBBER matt that was put in the van by the factory in 1968....we decided ....to stop where we were at, so the NEW OWNER could see for themselves how clean this RARE find is from the walls to the doors ....like stated just add NEW CARPET AND MOLDING around the doors and she is FINISHED !!!!!
Door panels are original plastic with leather and are in very good condition. Original door handles and window rollers are in very good condition as well
Vinyl buckets are in fantastic condition.
Factory gauges look great, and are all functional except for the speedo, which needs a new cable because the original was getting noisy. I believe it is still in place, if you want to hook it back up.
The center console top can be flipped back to show the monster motor in this crazy show van!
The 318 motor and 727 trans shows GREAT! but not show detailed, the motor looks great, and only needs a 4 barrel and headers to make it into a true hotrod but the strangers oohhhh and ahhhh when they see & hear it as it is!
An 8 ¾ posi-trac rear end puts the power to the ground via a 727 automatic transmission with highway friendly 3.23 gears.
The engine fires right up hot or cold, SOUNDS ROUGH AND TOUGH WITH A NEW GLASSPACK & idles super clean, and is about as proven reliable and dialed in as anything I have ever owned.
It shifts smooth like silk, kicks down to pass, and has zero issues.
I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH THAT THIS VAN IS READY TO ROLL ANYWHERE YOU WANT TO TAKE IT!
It is not some backyard built, thrown together last weekend rat rod. This is a full custom show van that , carefully maintained and serviced by just ONE owner for over 30 years, and needs NOTHING to drive and enjoy right now!
