Rare 1970 Bug in Great Condition This Bug was completely restored 10 to 12 years ago, parked outside and has been driven very little since. The engine, trans, brakes, rims,tires, suspension and interior were all done. Disc Brakes were added tothe front and an Alpine 500 watt sound system installed. The Exhaust is a custombuilt 'Euro Tuck' design and is hidden. It runs and drives perfectly withoutany rattles or mystery noises and oddly, doesn't have that "Volkswagen Smell" Unfortunately the car was parked outside and now the Beautiful Paint Job is Oxidizedon the roof and hood. We took it to a Detail Shop and was told that it could "Probably"be buffed out, but No Guarantee, so at this point we decided to leave it alone.The turn signals don't flash and it's missing the bezel around the the drivers insidedoor handle, it also needs the glove compartment latch fixed, it wont stay closed.The drivers door opens from the inside but not the outside and the speedometerdoesn't work so the actual mileage is Unknown. Judging from the wear and tear,it appears to have less than 10k miles since the restoration. A piece of the pan behindthe drivers seat has been replaced but there's no other apparent rust or damageanywhere on the car.I Don't know that much about VW's so check the pictures carefully and I'll do mybest to answer any questions.
