This almost completely restored 560 SEL has a new engine, trans, AC compressor and fuel/brake lines installed by MotorWerks of Barrington Illinois, one of the largest Mercedes dealers in Illinois. Other recent mechanical work includes new ball joints, new power steering lines and new motor mounts. Engine, trans and AC unit have less than 35,000 miles whlile body has almost no rust and 235,000 miles on it. Dealer took possession of vehicle with a mechanic's lien from previous owner when they refused to pay for above mechnical work. The minor water damage was a leather panel on the passenger from seat that has been repaired. Dealer will also confirm that above work was peformed by certified Mercedes technicians. Current owner has had vehicle since 2008 and has been restoring body over this period of time.
