The paint is okay and is the original color. The body lines are very straight and there are no signs of body work. It is the original sheet metal! The floor pans are super solid and rust free. INTERIOR: The seats are in good shape, but the headrests are poor. The top is presentable, but will need a new top frame in the future. The carpet is okay and should be cleaned. The dash pad is nasty and should be replaced in the future. The interior is missing the radio. MECHANICAL: The MG drives and shifts through all four gears smoothly. The tires are okay and are usable. The temperature gauge is a floater and should be replaced, like most Midgets. I would replace the temperature gauge with a newer model that reads the actual temp. After long spirited drives, I tested the coolant temperature and it is steady at 193 degrees. The brakes are good and stop as they should.
