2001 F150 Bi-Fuel (CNG & gasoline),4x4,SUPERB SHAPE Important, important, important The engine works perfectly well on gasoline. When running on CNG, the engine will tend to stall at idling. It will continue to run well on CNG if it runs at RPMs above idling. With over-the-phone help from CNG Repair & Conversion INC. (Tulsa, OK), I have diagnosed the problem. There are two possibilities; the first one is that the temperature sensor within the compuvalve does not work properly. I was told by the Oklahoma repair expert it will take $1200 to completely fix the sensor problem. The second, and much cheaper possibility, is that low flow fuel injectors (mounted in the underbelly of the compuvalve) do not work well. I am not absolutely sure this is the correct diagnosis, but I believe there is a very good chance that I am right. Once more: the engine works perfectly well while running on gasoline.
