For Sale is our 2003 Audi A4, 3.0 Quattro AWD Sedan, 5-speed automatic, with around 100,000 miles. We need another station wagon and therefore we don't need this car anymore. The car was originally purchased in Texas and spent most of its life there. Only 2009 the car saw its first snow and is therefore rust free, the color is shiny, and the engine compartment is very clean for a car of 9 years. The car comes with two key fobs and an emergency key (key without the remote door lock fob). This is a non-smoker car. The car is well equipped with - 2 power seats- leather- Bose 10 speaker sound system- high intensity discharge (HID) self leaveling headlights- moon roof- 6 CD changer- sport package- premium Audi stock 17" wheels- dual-zone automatic A/C- cruise control- dual and side airbags - detailed red calipers There are only signs of normal wear but no excessive wear or damages. Overall the car is in a good state and well maintained. Especially the expensive 100,000 miles service items were taken care of, including timinig belt, transmission, and engine components. The maintenance items performed during the last 3 years total around $8,000: - 2009, 84,000 miles, reconditioned transmission, $3,600- 2010, new power steering pump, rack, pinion, $2,000 (no invoice available, sorry)- 2010, 89,000 miles, 6 new coils, warranty- 2010, timing belt replaced, $1,300- 2011, new antenna, $300 (no invoice, sorry)- 2011, 95,000 miles, 4 new control arms, $1,000- 2012, new battery Brake fluid (May 2011), engine oil and filter (Mobil 1 0w-40, Mobil M1204 filter; May 2012), anti-freeze coolant (May 2011), brake fluid (May 2011) are all recent and good to go until Mid-2013, based on Audi recommended service intervals. I do not want to hide the flaws: - the check engine light will appear sometimes (currently it's turned off). The car does not show any issues for years.- there is a very small chip in the wind screen. The chip did not extend during the last few years and I don't think that the windscreen needs to be replaced. The chip was "repaired".- the memory feature for the driver's seat is broken. It still works for the mirrors. - I have the feeling the brakes are weak, compared to my other cars. A mechanic checked and said it's fine. In reverse, a brake squeaks. Overall, this car is well maintained and complete. If you do some research, you will find that these cars often show the same problems (e.g. no radio receiption because of broken antenna; engine blow-up because timing-belt was not replaced; problems with power steering; problems with transmission) due to lack of maintenance, and all these expensive items were recently maintained or fixed.
