A very rare 1968 export 122s saloon. I am a car enthusiast not an expert by any means, I had one of these in college and now being retired wanted another. This is a rare and hirely desireable two door. at 22 years old i had one of these. over sixty now, none of my friends can get in the back without subsequently visiting their chiropractor. i have since bought a 67 four doorFrom what i have researched on line, Volvo stopped importing these after August 1967, but where avaialble as export models until August 1968the difference from a 1967 to a 1968 is as follows according to my web research is as followsdual brake circuits, if the front or rear fails, the other can control the car's brakeing abilitynewer steering wheel headrests standard equipment not an optionpad under dash, introduced in 1968rear wing window locks on rear windows upgraded lumbar support on front seatsupgraded seatbelt locking mechanisism for front seats I purchased the car from an elderly gentleman in Indianna late this spring, he had bought it late last fall, only to learn that he needed throat surgery which entailed a ten day hospital stay. durring recovery. he had a massive heart attack, which required a 25 day stay.
