This is an original california vehicle. I am the third owner having purchased it in April of 2002. I have receipts provided by the previous owner documenting over $23,000.00 worth of work since the early 90's. Including A camaro front clip, Chevy 350 V8, Turbo 400 transmission, power steering, power brakes with discs at all four corners, tilt steering wheel, ford 9inch positraction rear, Vintage brand AC/heater, 17" torqthrust II wheels, Oak bed with polished stainless runners, Hidden hinges on tail gate and edelbrock IAS shocks,front and rear. The engine was dressed with Edelbock intake, aircleaner and valve covers. It also has headers, miscellaneous chrome , Holley four barrel carb and a front hinged tilt up hood. I drove this truck for many years and even pulled a Uhaul with it when I moved from California to Georgia in July of 2003. It was very reliable. Between 2003 and Feb of 2011 the only repair I made was a new altenator and universal joints. Now for the bad news. This truck has been kept outdoors since the late 90's. In feb,2011 We had a cold snap that lasted for about two weeks in which I did not start or drive the truck. Unfortunately, I allowed a perfectly good engine to freeze and crack the block. the truck has not ran since. The weather has taken it's toll. The paint is weathered cracked and peeling. The worse rust is on the top drip rail, See photos, But there is surface rust through out. Some of the oak bed is also rotted away. The speedometer has not worked in many years so the mileage is not correct. The cassette radio,AC/Heater,Transmission, brakes and Gauges worked in 2011 but I can not vouch for anything now. The upper steering wheel bearings also need to be replaced. I intended to replace the engine and do a full restoration but have come to the realization that it is too far down on my priority list to ever get done and I hate to see it waste away.
