For sale is a 1976 Dodge D100 pickup that I have been gathering parts for and building for nearly 10 years. The truck started life as a 1976 D200. I put the cab on a 1974 D100 shortbed frame and created a half ton two wheel drive short bed. This is an A/C truck (not hooked up) with power steering and brakes. I have converted the truck to manual trans and installed an aluminum case A833 OD 4 speed. The engine is a 1971 440 out of a Chrysler. The compression has been left stock at 9:1 and runs on regular unleaded. The cylinder heads are a pocket ported set of 452 castings. The cam is a stock 440 magnum grind. The engine has a high volume oil pump, ARP rod bolts, true roller timing chain, recurved electronic ignition, Edelbrock performer RPM intake, stock 440 HP carter AVS carb and headman headers. The exhaust sounds great with dual flowmaster mufflers. The differential is a 1971 8&3/4 with 3.55 gears. I always planned to re disassemble the truck and restore it completely, however I do not have the resources to pull it off and am giving up. I do drive the truck regularly (about 1000 miles per year). The body has very little rust. Most of what you see is surface rust and the only hole is in the cab under the LH door which can be seen in the pictures. The front fenders and doors are fairly new items. I have some spare parts and will send all I have with the truck. I will expect a $500 deposit within 5 days of auction and balance will be due upon delivery of vehicle.
