Hello everyone - This listing is for a very special cream colored 77' Mercedes Benz 450SL convertible. This has been with one family since 1977, owned by the father and was recently passed to me. I've decided to sell it. It has been METICULOUSLY maintained. Just about every part that can wear out has been replaced in recent years. Never missed a fluid flush or oil change - on time every 3,000 miles. The same mechanic has worked on the car since the day it was bought, so he knows the car inside and out. I had it fully inspected and tuned up by him just before posting this ad. This car has always been garaged, and barely got driven 50-80 miles a week which is why the mileage is so incredible still. It's so reliable that it would make a fantastic daily driver. It also has a custom back seat with original Mercedes Leather & seat belts installed which is perfect if you need a baby seat (because there is no leg room), otherwise it's just for show and really makes it stand out as a unique car. Absolutely every function and feature on this car works, and flawlessly at that. Mechanically it's in top notch condition and will be running for many more hundreds of thousands of miles. I would rate the exterior cosmetic condition 8.5/10 given there are just a couple very small paint chips randomly on the body, and a bb sized chip on the windshield - otherwise it's still shiny & new looking with no dings or dents. The interior I would rate a 9/10, there is only a very minor tear less than an inch long on the driver seat. All leather is clean and in great shape, center console, hardware and dash are very clean and well kept. I always use unleaded plus gasoline and from time to time add in some Lucas Fuel Injector Cleaning fluid. It does include original hardtop (8/10 condition) and the pictured soft-top that was purchased only a year ago (10/10 condition). It comes with the original car jack that fits in one of 4 special holes that are placed under both sides of the car, as well as a full set of specialized tools meant just for this Mercedes, and a spare in the trunk. Also, as shown in the trunk there is a custom Mercedes hardtop winch/hoist that installs in your garage and it basically lifts and holds the hardtop off the car when you want it off or when switching to the soft top, its very convenient. Original manual is included as well. I had the car appraised recently and it was valued at $16,500.
