You are bidding on a 1960 Triumph TR3 that has been mechanically restored but needs to be finished as far as the body and interior. This car was originally white with a red interior. It has the spoke knock off wheels and new tires. Over 10,000 dollars was recently spent on the mechanics of this vehicle. I will list the new parts ; radiator exhaust with a monza style tailpipe rebuilt carbs brakes top woodgrain steering wheel etc. Too much has been done on this car to list everything, but from bushings to hoses to clamps and so on have been replaced by the British Automotive Restoration co. here in town. They can be contacted as well if you need more info about the car. They are the experts on TR3s. The car runs beautifully now and is a pleasure to drive. As far as rust goes, the frame has had a small patch panel welded in at some point in time and the rocker panels will need to be replaced prior to painting. Other than that the car is extremely solid. The paint is faded and will need to be painted as well as the chrome needs to be rechromed. The interior is ok with new carpet but will need to be replaced with nicer carpet to make it show ready. The seats are ok but there is a tear in the passenger seat about 6 inches long on one of the seams. All of the guages work and some were just rebuilt recently. The car has spoke wheels and new tires as well. The car also comes with a tonneau cover as well as a new top, however there are no side curtains. This vehicle has been a restoration in progress and well over 10,000 has been spent on it. It runs and drives great, so the next step is the paint and interior. There was some damage recently to the rear driver side quarter panel that happened when the car fell of of the jack.
