Ok sooooooo heres my happening hippie bus;) I built this bus for my wife. Then she had a pulmonary embolism and cant drive anymore;( But its a great bus. Ok so I had a local VW shop here named Import parts build the motor. Its a 1776 with a counter balanced crank 34mm carb single carb. I like to go to the grocery store without adjusting the carbs three times lol;) So we did the interior funky and fun who wants plain jane man thats not a bus this one is fun. It has a wood headliner with pink trim its pretty cool. Nice CD player you cant drive a bus without tunes lol. Its got a token Z-bed of course for sleeping comfy on the beach with your girl or whatever lol. So its a real bummer that I gotta sell the bus but my wife cant drive and as you can see in the back of the pictures I got my buses to work on lol. So it just got a fresh paint job Sublime Lime is the color my wife always wanted she got it and cant drive it now shes bummed:( Anyways the paint looks really nice its a single stage laquer paint that I had a guy paint and buff it looks sweeeet. So no more cancer on the outside of the bus had a guy weld it all up for me. The only cancer now is a few little holes in the floor boards email me for pictures of that I gotem;) So what else oh the camper screen for the top hasnt been done yet. I can do it if you dont want to just hadnt got it done as like I said she cant drive it anyways so we are both bummed;( We really love our little 71 we were trying to save the bays lol. Ok so the windshield seal definitely needs to be replaced, again something I can do for our little bays future friend. The windshield seal is like 25 bucks through wolfgang i can do it just hadnt yet. So the only cancer our bus has left is in the floor boards in front only small holes just hadnt done them yet., So the motor compartment is his original red still it looks kinda like christmas red on the green when you open the deck lid very cool I think:) Its his last little piece of the 70's lol. John muir said to make the motor compartment fun so I had the painter leave it original as I thought it was more fun that way. A flashback in time I guess lol:) So if you have any questions dont be afraid to ask hes a sweet little bus. I think I covered everything that I can think of. Oh he starts duh lol stops turns all lights work including turn signals lol. He has brand new tires a $550.00 value in itself lol. All the blood, sweat, and tears lots of time and money unknown amount.
