Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1988 Ford Mustang LX Fox Body Hatchback Street Race Car. This car runs and drives. It has a 10 bolt ford rear end, Ron Davis Radiator, 27.5/4.5-15 front tires in good shape with 4 lug weld racing wheels, rear tires are Mickey Thompson ET series tires worn down, rear drum brakes. The paint job is pretty good, there are some scratches, minor scuffs, dings and cracks in the paint that were touched up. It has a 6 Point roll cage(someone cut the drivers entrance bar off it is in once piece that can be welded back together), racing seatbelts(from '02), 5 speed manual transmission with aftermarket shift knob, gray carpet and door paneling, gray cloth factory seats, blue fuel tank mounted in back trunk and battery with box, fiberglass black primered hood, gas shocks, MSD Ignition-push button start, fuel pumo on/off switch and master power switch below trunk mounted. The engine is a 5.0L 302 CID Carburetored. The motor has a healthy camshaft in it we have no idea what is inside the motor for pistons, crankshaft or anything. The exhaust has square mufflers and headers. The gauges don't work. The odometer reads 38,218 miles exempt. The oil was just changed. There are no guarantees with this car, we have driven it down the street we know it runs and drives good and the engine, clutch and transmission are good. The car has potential for a good street / strip car for someone who has mechanical knowledge. Make no doubt about it this is NOT a show car at all. A cheap way to go fast!
