Beautiful fire engine red, this car has given me years of pleasure. It starts easily, runs and sounds great. The body is in good rust-free condition, and was painted around 10 years ago. The engine is a 289 and has been rebuilt at some point with, I'm told, a solid cam and outfitted with Edelbrock components. I recently rebuilt the 4-barrel carburetor and replaced all fuel lines, new gas tank and battery. The four-speed floor shift transmission will occasionally pop out of third, but not if you keep your hand on the shifter. The seats have been recovered, interior and trunk carpeting are in good shape, and I have new liners for both console and glove box. I have purchased window cranks and parts for arm rests in the back seat, which are currently missing. The radio is not working. This is not a K car, but as far as I can tell, it seems outfitted with the same options. The Crager mags set it off, and believe me, heads will turn. The rear end is low-geared for street rod cruising. Mileage shows to be 37,000, but I am assuming it has turned over 100,000. Since I rarely drive it, I am letting her go to a new home. I am willing to ship overseas, and will quote a separate handling charge to supervise loading into Buyer's container, with commercial invoice, if details are provided.
