You are bidding on a 2001 FORD EXPLORER SPORT TRAC 2WD I OWNER 243K MILES NEEDS MOTOR REBUILD. This is a one owner car that I bought new from Folsom Lake Ford, CA and it has been my daily drivers since then. There have been very few mechanical problems with this vehicle, most notably a snapped valve spring at 100000 mi and a stuck thermostat. The engine quit running and FORD Service said there were three cylinders with low compression and that the motor would need to be rebuilt or replaced. The vehicle has never been in an accident and has a flawless body. There are minor scratches, etc on the paint, but still very good. The front windshield was replace two years ago. The tires are in very good condition and are light truck tires from Les Schwab. The front brakes will be due for pads soon (Les Schwab also). The transmission was working fine and the AC blew cold when the vehicle stopped running. It has keyless entry and a numerical door keypad. The rear window is a power slider and the other windows are power also, all working fine. It has electric door locks. The vehicle came with a tow package. It also has the FORD hard tonneau cover, locking and keyed to the ignition. There is only one key remaining. The Radio/CD works but the display doesn't. The drivers seat is power but not working, probably a fuse. The rubber front floor mats are worn, back ones fine. The passenger and rear seats are all in good condition, needing some cleaning. The interior lights don't work because the printed circuit tore. Headlights, tail lights, brake lights all work. Gear shift lever has gotten loose from use but still works. There are probably some other minor issues that I don't recall. The vehicle has clear title, in hand. Winning buyer must arrange for shipping but we will assist with mover. A typical transporter from Folsom, CA (where vehicle is located) to Los Angeles would charge about $650 +/-. Vehicle does not have current registration, was stored on a certificate of non-use. Personal plates have been removed and will need to be re-plated. All minor issues. Check the photos and email any questions. Auction has no reserve.
