2001 Ford F-350, crew cab, lariat package, 4 X 4, Auto transmission, leather interior, pioneer in dash DVD/stereo with XM radio installed and iPod usb, Ranch hand front bumper, C and M flatbed, tires are 95% front and 80% rear this truck has 131k miles and zero miles on a brand new Automatic transmission, the transmission went out a month ago, so I went and bought another truck while the transmission was being replaced in this Ford. The truck is in excellent mechanical condition with no problems. The exterior paint is also excellent with the exception of the clear coat slightly peeling on the top of the roof. 6 month old batteries and ball joints replaced last summer. Its showing a frontal accident record..how much damage was involved? Also, its showing theft, but says clear title...so the title is clear? Thank you. Mike - chief074 chief074, hi mike- As far as the frontal accident, I guess thats from when I rear ended a suburban I was behind at a red light. I had a winch on the front of the truck and it pretty much ruined the two back doors of the suburban, but it didn't even damage my winch. It was my fault and the guy made an insurance claim on my insurance. Thats all I am aware of or can think of as nothing has been repainted and all original body parts. As far as the theft goes, When I bought the truck it was missing the stereo, the drivers outside door handle was cracked, and the front and rear wheels were missing the hub caps. The seller told me that it had been burglarized, but that sounds different than theft which is curious. I was under the impression that it was broken into and burglarized while parked. When I had a carfax report done at the time I was purchasing it had nothing about theft or burglary or anything that concerned me that I can remember. I had the stereo replaced, hub caps replaced, an the door handle fixed and that is all I know about that. As to the title, yes it is clear and blue and here in my file cabinet. On another note, when I got the truck the 4 X 4 wasn't working. I had to replace both hubs, drivers axle shaft, and ball joints on both sides. since then I replaced the water pump, alternator, both batteries, A/C fully serviced, and one month ago the transmission was replaced. Also, when I got the truck I had the new flat bed installed. Nothing wrong with the old bed (which I sold to salvage). Thanks, Jeremy - jeremyscottechols
