The previous owner was a past president of the Daimler Lanchester Owner's club. He had made many improvements to this car to make it into a better and more reliable driving SP-250. The receipts total about $11,000 for the mechanical improvements.The improvements include the rack and pinion steering conversion, 5 speed conversion, stonger rear axle, K&N air filters, and electronic ignition. The paint is an older paint job, and is presentable, but "show quality". As many on many older fiberglass bodied cars, the paint as "settled" to show some of the texture of the fiberglass, on close inspection. There are no major flaws in the paint. This is a very rare and desirable British sports car, which has an unique exhaust note like no other car; the sweet sound of a small displacement Hemi V-8!
