Vehicle Detail
1999 Subaru Legacy Outback Wagon. 4 cyl, 2.5L. Red with grey interior. In fair condition(according to Kelley Blue Book). 2nd owner. This car handles excellent in the snow and has been driven in/on a wide variety of road conditions. It has never gotten stuck. In 2007, I toured the USA in it and put over 10K miles on it. I've had the car since 2006 when I got it from my stepfather. He was the original owner and took very good care of it. The reason I am selling it is because I live in the city and don't really need it to get around. I still drive it for quick errands, however, so the engine gets run regularly. Needs work to pass inspection 239K+ miles, engine rebuilt at 183,000, runs strong but exhaust leak causing loss of back pressure so engine runs a little rough, according to my mechanic. I've had the leak welded before and the engine ran smooth. 5 spd manual transmission replaced at 210,000 miles(replaced with used transmission with 90k miles on it). Battery 1 year old Alternator 1 year old Dunlop tires have about 75% tread. Comes with a regular "donut" spare and one Dunlop(not on rim) Comes with Yakima bike roof rack AM/FM Cassette Cloth seats Has rust on hood(patched with Bondo) and left rear quarter panel above wheel well. Passenger side mirror was broken off. I glued it back on with gorilla glue...not pretty but effective! One of the cross bars on the roof is slightly bent. Has some minor dents and scrapes but has never been in any serious accidents Driven regularly Clear title Most repair records Passed Safety inspection in March, 2012 Failed emissions inspection March 2012 Work needed to pass inspection: O2 sensor replacement Catalytic Converter Emergency Brake(just broke within the past month) Future maintenance/repairs needed: A/C recharge Front struts making noises, may need replacement Front-end alignment Brakes at 50% Cruise control not working properly Has minor oil leak. Exhaust leak near manifold causing loss of back pressure for engine(when fixed engine runs fine) Sold as is. If you have any questions about the car, feel free to send me a message. Thanks!
