1990 Ford F-350 Crew Cab Diesel 5 speed with a long bed - Not 4 wheel drive Condition: The good: Newer tires with 40,000 mile warranty left. This is an Arizona truck with virtually no rust! Clean frame. Brand new Motorcraft/Beru glow plugs New fuel filter. No fuel leaks! Runs and drives! Nice camper top, insulated with carpet 181,000 miles Interior is pretty clean and in decent shape. Front seats could use covers. Body has no major dents. The issues: -Paint is ugly, chipped and faded -The reverse gear is starting to go out. It will go into reverse but it can take a couple tries. Every other gear is smooth and easy -AC is not working. It may just need a refill but I'm unsure. -Parking brake doesn't work. -The steering column was replaced some time in the past with an automatic steering column. Because of that the glow plugs and ignition were rerouted to manual buttons. When starting you have to turn the key to on, hold the glow plug button for 25 seconds and then push the ignition button.-It is difficult to start when cold. *Update* Just bought a new battery today and the truck is now starting fine even when cold. *Update* The keys are now stuck in the ignition............ It's been a reliable truck. It was recently bought in AZ and I used it to haul my two horses and belongings to TN. Never had any trouble the entire trip. No overheating. Pulled the trailer with no issues. Very smooth at interstate speeds, no wobble. Gets really good gas mileage while hauling. I was getting between 13 and 14 mpg. This would be an excellent parts car or not too difficult to fix it up.
