Vehicle Detail

1965 Mustang GT350 clone Super nice 65' fastback in great condition! True California Car always garaged!Engine runs strong and transmission shifts effortless! GT 350 clone looks amazing!Very nice paint and interior! So as the story goes this car was originally owned by the son of an owner of a Ford dealership in San Francisco. Unverified by me, there was supposedly a "Build Your Own Shelby" program at that time, available to any individual who knew about the ability to buy Shelby only parts that could be installed on any regular fastback. Although this may or may not be true what this car does have is evidence of someone in or around 1965 adding Shelby components to the car. - Please notice the period correct looking traction bars in a couple of pics below, its pretty safe to assume tractions bars from now and dating back to the 70's muscle cars did not look like that. - Please take note of the installation points on the strut tower area in the pictures of the engine, a period correct looking (very skinny and old) strut tower brace that comes with the car is not installed. - The strut tower brace is not on the car due to the aftermarket ignition that is too large and gets in the way, otherwise it would be installed in those strut tower install points you see in the pics. - The car also has GT350 door sills and gas cap, along with center caps on the rims and the white stripping on the paint. Let me be very clear, I am not claiming all this is true, I am simple pointing out the fact it might be true and I have no way to verify it. - 302 engine C4 tranny both rebuilt- offenhauser intake - webber carb- full length headers- mallorey ignition- front disk brakes- new suspension- 1965 traction bars GT350 like (can see in the pics)- 1965 strut tower brace included (not on car due to large distributor from ignition upgrade)- correct dual GT exhaust- hood locks w/key- new pony interior- GT350 door sills- GT350 gas cap- aftermarket gauges- correct GT fog lamps- correct rally rims with newer tires- GT350 center caps- correct spare tire in trunk- aftermarket stereo- comes with car cover cowl tag facts: 63A 5 26 19J 72 6 6 63 = fastbackA = standard5 = Twilight Turquoise26 = Black Vinyl w/Black Trim19J = 09/19/65 build date72 = ordered for San Jose district6 = 2.80:1 axel ratio6 = c4 auto transmission Please call Rob with any questions, thanks!Rob 310.995.8896 I BEG YOU TO PLEASE LOOK AT ALL THE OTHER FEEDBACK AS THIS MORE ACCURATELY DESCRIBES HOW YOU WILL BE TREATED BY ME. MY CARS DO NOT SIT ON SOME LOT I DRIVE THEM AND ENJOY THEM AND KEEP THEM AT HOME WITH ME (OR AT HOME WITH THEIR OWNERS WHO CONSIGNED THEM TO ME).
