Up for auction is my 1987 Nissan 200sx SE. This is one of those cars that are considered a beginners collector car. I've had this car for almost 3 yrs, and it's set most of the time because it needed a fuel pump and they cost $250 new, because you'll never find a good used one. I love this car and would love to keep it, but for one thing it's a 5 speed, these make me think I'm a race car driver, and this car responds to those feelings. While I was looking for a cheaper fuel pump, I ran across a great deal on a 91 BMW 4door, great driver, little more subdued. Less chance of a speeding ticket. I purchased a new fuel pump online from "The Parts Geeks" for $150 and will let the receipt go with the car, I haven't put my name on it. The clutch is in great condition, it will leave a good scratch mark. It's had a tune-up and an oil change. It has the 8-spark plug head, a real screamer. Gets great gas mileage. All the lens are in good condition. Now for the bad points; the seats need recovering, the driverside inner door panel is missing, the plastic around the steering column is busted, the sunroof latch is broke but the sunroof does not leak, it's missing one of the matching rims, looks like somebody hand painted it(?), needs front struts, may need better tires, driverside door drops a little when opened, the windshield is cracked from top to bottom near the rear view mirror, air conditioner needs charging, has small dent up front near the right turn signal, must have bumped something in front because the driverside fender is pushed in a little, up and down head lights work half the time, if at all. It does have an independent rearend for better handling, which means it doesn't have a solid shaft rearend. Brakes seem to work fine, steering is fine, turn signals work fine, does not have electric windows, locks or seats. Does have a good hot battery. Electrical system charges just fine. It does have 203,000 miles, but that's just getting broke in for a Nissan. Definately a builder, but ready to go. I wouldn't be scared to drive this car anywhere. I do hate to let it go, but I do love my Beemer. Does have a good car-fax report, never been wrecked or stolen. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me. The driverside sideview mirror is missing, the part of the steering column that holds the ignition switch is busted, and it needs ball joints. It does have electric windows, and both work.
