Vehicle Detail

Sorry about the last listing!! I was called out for emergency relief and took it off so there would be no issues while I was gone. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused, but it is part of my job. For sale is my 1968 Plymouth Roadrunner. I am selling it due to my constant military moves, but since I am due to PCS soon, if it doesn't sell I will just take it with me. This roadrunner has a 440hp out of a 67 GTX under the hood right now, but will also come with the original engine that was taken out during the engine swap. I have tried to verify that the 383hp that I have is the one that came with the car originally. After the phone calls and research, I was told the following... "the engines used during the beginning of the production year would have a late 66 engine marking or 67 engine marking. Since the engine id's were not used during the early productions, if the casting numbers are around that time frame, it is safe to assume it belongs to that car." That casting numbers on the engine are 2468130 with a date code 11-21-66. I It is an original 383hp with manual 4speed transmission. I believe the transmission is original to the vehicle, and after the research I believe it is. The following items have been upgraded under the hood: Newer carb, high performance spark plug wires, new spark plugs, new starter, new alternator, new wiring harness, new starter solenoid relay, new voltage regulator, new radiator, new valve covers (and gaskets), new head gaskets, upgraded intake, new roadrunner horn (not installed), rebuilt windshield wiper motor, upgraded camshaft, and bored '30 over. The following items have been upgraded inside the car: New carpet, new seat covers, new door panels, new window cranks, new dashpad, new shifter boot, new floor and trunk pans. The following items were upgraded on the exterior: New front windshield, new headlights, new side marker lights, rekeyed door and trunk locks, new roadrunner emblems and stickers. The body is very straight and has minimal work done to it. There is some bondo skimming around the trunk and bottom door panels, but looks very good. It was originally yellow gold, The person I bought it off of repainted it matte black (a semi-ok job). It came with factory a/c, with dealer installed dash vent. I do not have the engine components for the a/c, but the interior components are there. The car overall still needs work in order to get it great and in perfect order. This is a solid foundation to work with and you will not be disappointed with the amount of work done to it already. The car does need stuff like: headliner, passenger door handle, odometer, speedometer, some dash panel components, the rear view mirror, the back window trim put on and other small stuff. I have tried to fully list everything good and bad with the car, and if there are any questions please email me. The reserve is set below 10k, so happy bidding.
